Melissa Manice, Ph.D.
Healthcare Technology Entrepreneur
Melissa Manice is an experienced healthcare technology entrepreneur, non-profit leader and Principal of MM Advisory. After earning her PhD at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Clinical and Translational Medicine, she founded a CoheroHealth, a respiratory diagnostic and remote patient monitoring platform, receiving a National Research Science Award, being named a Top 40 Healthcare Transformer (2014) and CoheroHealth was honored as one of the most innovative life science companies of 2014. CoheroHealth was acquired by Aptar Pharma. Melissa has since used her experience to serve as an advisor and Board Member of several growth-stage healthcare technology companies, with a particular passion for advising female and first-time founders.
Dr. Manice has always been passionate about volunteerism, serving on the Children’s Committee at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and as a Deacon at Brick Presbyterian Church and Larchmont Avenue Church. In 2020, she founded One Larchmont, with a focus on providing small business grants for COVID-related financial relief as well as the restoration and rehabilitation of the historic district of Larchmont, New York. She has also served as President of Flint Park Conservancy, working with elected officials, school districts, contractors and volunteers to raise and deploy millions of dollars to improve multi-generational access to recreational and environmentally-protected green spaces in Larchmont, New York.
Dr. Manice received her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University, a PhD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and a Masters in Public Health from Hunter College Urban Public Health Program.
